My grandkids are fans! They all love macaroni and cheese, from the youngest to the oldest. Of course I don't mind it either, now and then, but my grandkids could eat it as a regular meal, sometimes, I think, with nothing else in their diet. I don't let them get away with that of course! They always get meat and veggies to go with it.

Instructions
  1. Cook macaroni in lightly salted water. Bring to a boil and boil for 7 minutes or according to package directions until tender; drain
  2. Meanwhile, combine the flour and 1 cup of the milk in a jar or shaker. Shake until completely blended and smooth. Pour into a medium saucepan and stir in the remaining cup of milk. Stir constantly over medium heat until sauce boils and thickens.
  3. Add butter, salt, pepper and cheese and continue stirring until cheese is melted and cheese sauce is smooth.
  4. Add cooked macaroni and fold macaroni into cheese sauce until coated. Serve hot.
