Instructions
  1. Unwrap caramels and place in top of double boiler. Heat, stirring frequently until caramels are melted. Add cream, butter and dash of salt and mix until butter is melted and all ingredients are well incorporated. Pour into fondue pot and keep warm. Serve with apple slices, marshmallows, sponge cake pieces and other fruit pieces. Roll in chopped nuts after dipping.
