These are a family staple at Christmas but are good anytime of the year.
This recipe is a Russian recipe from my old friend Anna who posted a lot of recipes on my old website years ago. This reminds me of the Cheese Buttons that the German-Russian immigrants in North Dakota made when I lived there. It very well could be a variation of the same recipe. It’s very good! Anna says she served these with Chicken or Smoked Farmer’s Sausage.
